Importance of Completing Your Risk Assessment
We have previously issued guidance relating risk assessments, particularly for vulnerable groups, to understand the specific risks staff members face from exposure to COVID-19 and actions which we can take to keep staff safe.
We need to therefore reinforce the importance of completing our unique risk assessment (Download PDF), if you have not done so, please do so now, this has now become a mandatory requirement. Individual risk assessments are especially important for bank and/or agency workers as the nature of their work means that they more regularly work in contexts that are unfamiliar to them than substantive staff, and thus identify/confirm whether you are willing to work in an environment where you may be exposed to COVID-19.
Complete your assessment and send it to us now
Once you have completed your assessment form, please upload it to your Staffshift profile or email oh@a24group.com.
Getting tested
As an agency group who routinely supplies institutions with Healthcare Professionals, we ask you to assist us to appropriately mitigate any risk posed by Coronavirus in the working environment. In line with government guidelines most clients now require essential workers to be tested fortnightly (every 2 weeks/14 days) to ensure staff supplied are clear of infection.
Book your NHS covid-19 test
We have therefore ramped up our COVID-19 test submissions to the NHS Employer of essential workers referral portal. If you require a test, please email oh@a24group.com or speak to your agency consultant. Referred essential workers will then receive a text message with a unique invitation code to book a test for themselves at your closest testing centre.
High-quality testing provides confidence and clarity to our clients to support those who are free of COVID-19 to return to work once they are well enough to do so and, if they test positive for COVID-19, ensure they are immediately notified and can begin a period of self-isolation.
