If you don’t have a professional council number leave the field blank and continue
When you are asked where you work, please select your closest vaccination site
Please enter the location of the vaccination site as the address. You do not need to provide a full address. The name of the town or city is sufficient.
We understand many people are concerned about the safety of the vaccine
Serious side-effects are extremely rare but severe COVID-19 is not:
Serious side effects such as severe allergy (anaphylaxis) and the rare clotting condition affect between 1 and 4 people per million vaccinated.
In the last year 35 000 people per million cases of COVID-19 lost their lives.
The one-and-done (1 dose) Johnson & Johnson (JnJ) vaccine provides more than 80% protection against severe COVID-19.
“A third wave of COVID-19 is predicted to begin in South Africa this winter. Protecting healthcare workers is a priority and so we must start vaccinating our healthcare workers before the third wave arrives.” Sisonke Study
Please talk to your health provider if you have concerns when making your decision.
