All clinically trained staff (doctors, registered nurses, and midwives), who deliver or are involved in rapid tranquilisation, physical restraint and seclusion are to be trained in ILS. You can complete either or both neonatal life support and adult life support courses.

This is usually mandatory for all mental health clients and facilities, and encompasses physical restraint skills and techniques, including personal safety, control and restraint as appropriate to the assignment. Clients will only accept 1-day refresher if evidence of a previous full course completed can be provided. Clients will only accept BILD Certified training.
