A24Group prides itself on assisting businesses and organisations in fulfilling their staffing and recruitment needs by connecting them with healthcare professionals who come highly recommended. Penny is renowned for building a culture where mutual respect and values are of utmost importance. Her workforce operates in an equal opportunity for all, and the payment of fair remuneration for her employees puts the A24group in a class of its own.

According to the Gender Pay Report 2020, 70% of the A24Group staff were female. Based on the NMC report, 11% of registered nurses in the UK were male. As a recruitment agency placing healthcare workers on an equal opportunity basis. The A24Group is unable to have a significant impact on closing gender pay gaps based on the stats mentioned above. It can be confirmed that male and female employees are paid equally for doing equivalent jobs. Due to Covid-19 some factors from the Gender Pay Report 2018 were adjusted.

Gender pay inequality

Nursing continues to remain a career avenue occupied predominantly by women. This can be due to old stereotypes and the general perception that nursing is mainly a female-dominated career. In this day and age, it’s still evident that it creates a disparity between genders when it comes to salaries and bonuses. However, the gender ratio on a larger scale has seen 'some' growth in terms of men joining the nursing industry.

Equal opportunities for all

The A24Group, like all health care recruiters, positively strives towards doing the best they can to ensure no gender-based discrimination on an employee salary scale. As a healthcare recruitment agency, we ensure that all healthcare professionals regardless of age, race and gender are exposed to equal work opportunities and duly aided in progressing their careers.
